GreatSchools: Has anyone used the Lindamood-Bell method?

My 15 year old son has been through lots of special ed... and is now doing extremely well at a mainstream school. However he uses audio books for most of his learning and he really wants to read more quickly and easily. Has anyone experienced Lindamood-Bell programs for this age group? What did you think of it? Does it work across the board for typical dyslexic kids?
