the situation is, i live in the Fieler district, and with her special needs and physical needs i have researched and feel "john Wood" would be best for my child. Whevever i have tried to ask local principals they say , "the child MUST attend the schhol in there district! Personally i feel, if you have special circumstances and i am willing to provide transportation, and the school accepts her, what is the big deal.. I have researced and researced and there in nothing LEGALLY that states , they HAVE to attend in there district, BUT i dont know how to get them to listen to me! When you have a child with A physical impairment, i need to know she is going somewhere that best fits her needs. If there is any parents out there that has a child attending a school in merrillville considered out of there district, can you please help me figure out how to do this! Thank you to anyone with helpful information!!
