	<title>GreatSchools: Irvine Schools Too Intense??</title>
	<link>http://community.greatschools.net/q-and-a/408739/Irvine-Schools-Too-Intense</link>
<description>I am relocating from the midwest to CA. I have heard consistently from real estate brokers and future colleagues that Irvine schools are great - if you are looking for insanely intense academic rigor. I hear comments like &quot;students come home from school and study another 5-6 hours.&quot; I am hoping to find a school with great teachers and solid academics, but also a place where my kids can enjoy extra-curricular activities and (heaven forbid) a little down time. All comments welcome. Thanks!</description>
