GreatSchools: ADHD/Non verbal Learning Disabilities - where for help?

Our fifth grader has ADHD, dyslexia and auditory processing disorder. He is also socially anxious in class and age inappropriate. He cannot take social ques from peers and is picked on. We have tried meds as a last resort and did not like the result(loss of weight, sluggish, anti-social). We believe it is time to visit Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford to see a Pediatric Neuropsycholgist or Psychiatrist. Do you have any feedback on 1) anybody that has gone that route or 2) any other resources in San Jose, Palo Alto, etc. (we are in Santa Cruz)....

thank you. I have re-posted question in the area you suggested. You are correct, the doctor was not a child/adolescent psychiatrist.
