	<description>My 1st grader hates school, struggles with feeling behind the others, frustrated most of time.  He has a good school but IEP and the State of California are don't recognize NLVD. We are agonizing and grieving as we watch his frustration and  as he slips away into hating school and learning. We found an alternative program but it is 35K per year.  Our options seem to be to leave him at the mercy of the school district or finance our futures.
