My child was attending a home-based preschool where he was learning word families and beginning to read. The owner, unfortunately decided to retire after 20 years and now my son is enrolled at a large daycare facility where he is going to preschool 3 days a week - but I am not happy. It is really expensive and I don't feel like the teachers and admin's are not on top of things like they should . I just don't have a great feeling about it like I did at his previous school. He also isn't being exposed to the type of material he was before. Anyone have recommendations on a great preschool for a 4-yr old? Mainly looking for great teachers who genuinely care about the children and have a somewhat structured environment where I can see a lesson plan for a month/week. Thanks for your input!
