I was running late one morning school starts at 9am I was there 930 tables were still set for breakfast, children were still sitting at the tables when my child sat down and began to drink his juice,I was standing outside looking in, next thing he starts crying and getting up to throw away his juice and milk and muffin. I open the door and ask why is he throwing away his breakfast? Teacher says we're on a schedule and breakfast is over, she didn't ask if he had eaten or why we were late or anything. No other child that was there already has thrown their breakfast away yet, He was first. I talked to the sec. the principle was out, she said she gave the message to principle and she said for the teacher to talk to me. But that's not what I asked for so it's like they want the parent and the teacher to handle issues. Teacher said if he was late agin he could in another room, but of course I'm not confortable about even leaving him with her now. Should I change schools, theotherclassisfull

Thanks, because I was on the fence about this. I'm just thinking what about the parents you can't stick around school to see this happening, their child will just starve ...

Hmmm... this question reminds me of another discussion where an older student was denied lunch because he lost his lunch money. To me, it's ridiculous that the teacher would have him ...
