I disagree with my 5th grader being in a classroom where 1/2 the day he will be hearing 4th grade lessons. Yes, theres some good/bad about this, however in his case he does not work well independantly and this will be too much of a distraction. Do I, or my child have any rights, or is this up to the school. I also am concerned as I do not believe a transition will be good for him at this point and hes threatened to run away. His previous classroom last year was chaos and he loves where he's at and has had enough changes for one year.
