For my daughter (above for Paxton), she is attending Callahan Middle school, 8th grade. She is an exceptional student (straight A's for the last two years, in the gifted program and accelerated courses offered for the 8th grade. She would highly benefit by attending a school more geared towards college bound students who need a challenge. The WNHS was a D school last year and was promoted to B/C for this year but the quality of students do not match her potential. Her FCATS are in the 99% and she has attended the National Jr leaders conference in Washington DC. With all that, does she need to take an entrance test or a PSAT and do I need to obtain any "exception" letters or recommendations? I understand that transportation to/from would be my responsibility. Please advise.
