If you have spoken to the school regarding this problem and there are no problems within the school classroom, I would advise you to just really try to get your child excited about first grade.&nbsp; Every child is different.&nbsp; They need time to adapt to new situations, and the school should be helping you with this.&nbsp; If children find school to be an interesting and enjoyable situation they will not usually hesitate to leave mom for long.&nbsp; Good luck.
