Preschool choices were a great challenge for me. I initially started with MATC child care center for both of my children. I love the professionalism and the cleanliness and order they provide. But shortly after I graduated from the finacial guideline that offered child care subsidy I could no longer afford their rates. Against my desires I had to find a location with similar professionalism but less cost. I struggled to find something for about a month or two. I finally decided on Northside YMCA child care center. They offered scholarships to families as well as memberships included in the cost. It turned out to be the most valuable fit for my family.
There are some other centers that offer scholarships, but I had an outstanding experience with the YMCA child care facility on my initial visit. My son is doing well, and my daughter attends the after care program now as well. She is very happy, participates in outstanding extra curricular activities, and we are all benefiting from the experience.
