Roxhill elementary school is a great school for many, many reasons! The teachers are great, very accesible, the staf is kind and the principal though new is a carbon copy of the former principal very hands-on, asscessible, open-door policy, firm yet fair.

Hi! Our daughter attends Roxhill Elementary school and it is a wonderful school! What makes it wonderful? The teachers are very approachable, the staff is very kind and the principal (she is new this year) is a carbon-copy of our former principal cathy Thompson, she is very kind, approachable, understanding, has an open-door policy to all staff, teachers, parents and students alike, she is firm yet very fair and does not yell, blow a whistle or scream at anyone. Roxhill gets a bum rap because of its location but it a great school with alot of heart. The kids are kind and having a no-bullying policy and show respect to everyone is a policy that is close to my heart. I volunteer at Roxhill whenever I can. Our former local school was very yuppy, very unfriendly, you never knew who would speak to you on any given day, it just was the wrong school for our family. Roxhill feels like home. Have you since decided on a local school? I wish you all the best. Also I might add that at Roxhill the class sizes are much smaller than at other local schools so the kids don't get lost in the shuffle.
