Preschool By The Bay, run by the Olympia Parks and Rec Dept. is another excellent school. The ratio is small, the current Teacher is EXCELLENT as was the previous long-time teacher. It is one of the most affordable preschools; yet the caliber of children (behavior, etc.) is high. I sent two of my children there for over a year, and I would recommend PBTB to anyone seeking an affordable, nurturing preschool.

Dancing Rainbows is wonderful. It is play based, small and focuses on the whole child. The owner/teacher is amazing. The curriculum is student centered and follows the students interests. Great social skill development, large and small motor skills, art, science, etc.

Emmanuel Fellowship is great. The director and teachers are wonderful with the kids. The atmosphere is always fun and positive with good just enough structure for learning and fun w/out chaos. Each child is treated as the individual they are and the class size helps the children learn to get along with many other personalities and prepare them for kindergarten. It is a very safe, emotionally and physically, environment. It is a Christian school, however everyone is welcome regardless of faith and treated with respect.
