Bainbridge Island is a public school system so you just enroll by calling the school district office. They would let you know which grade school you would attend.

If you child is gifted there is a testing process for the advanced placement program but it is not a separate school or a pull out program. You can find information about that on the school district website.

If you are moving here, you can go to the Washington State Superintendents website and compare test scores for the three elementary schools PreK-4. But which elementary school your child atends is determined by where you live.

At grade 5 all kids go to Sakai Intermediate School for 5th & 6th, then onto Woodward Middle School for for 7th & 8th. High School is 9-12.

The exceptions to this are the Odyssey School which is a coop program that is a lottery to get into. If you have the time volunteer and want a smaller class size and school for your child then it's a good option. But it's a lottery and I don't know what the odds are of getting in. It is for grades 1-8 and a good option. There are two additional options for high school: Eagle Harbor High School which is a continuation of the Odyssey program and Strawberry Hill Park School which is an alternative school that I don't know anything about.

There are also several small, private secular and christian schools on the island.
