Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Petersburg? What makes it great?"

There is only accredited elementary school in Petersburg. A.P. HIll. In-fact, it is the only accredited school in the school system. Our middle school is in mandatory restructure status, deemed by the NCLB. There are a few local private schools that are acceptable. Kenston Forest, Tidewater Academy and St. Josephs. They are the only local private schools that are accredited by the Virginia Independent Schools.
