I can honestly tell you that my son has attended Richneck Elementary. He is in 5th grade now and I am going to be very sad to see him move on to middle school knowing how hard it can be. I feel that Richneck has been wonderful mostly due the attentiveness to the children, those with special needs and also not. My son went from a very shy and intreverted boy to a more outgoing social butterfly. When he arrived at Richneck, we were faced with many difficulties with reading comprehension and decoding, math, etc. Through the careful process and planning with the teachers and making an IEP assessment we were able to place him with the right teachers and a smaller class setting. Our son has now made the A/B honor roll since 3rd grade almost every report card. This has made us very proud of sending and keeping our son in this school. Also, the principal is always involved and loves the children. You never have a problem speaking to him regarding any issues you may have. Again it is going to be sad when he graduates. Now our delimema is finding the right middle school being that the one he is zoned for we have not heard such great things about.
