My family loved Corpus Christi Pre school. I had three children that went through that preschool starting at age 3. The school is academically good, as well as the kind of loving, caring, safe place you feel good leaving your children. The teachers were so warm and loving, as well as the administration that even though my son cried the first couple of days, after about 2 minutes he was having a blast playing with his new friends (I was more upset, but the staff let me peek in the window - or checked on him for me while I paced around to make sure he was ok).

My children learned a lot and were able to read and write simple words, could count to at least 50 and knew basic phonetic sounds. However, my kids did not feel that it was learning and the curriculum was truly a play based environment, yet they got many concepts across to each child. Even social development was worked on and teachers were able to schedule their curriculum's and classrooms so they could work with small groups to enhance learning.

Corpus Christ also has both FT and PT options for preschool as well as year round day care so was a great option for me. The cost was reasonable (less than the center my kids were at prior) and the location was convenient - right near 495 and RT 50 -about 5 minutes from 7 corners - on a large (maybe 5 acre) facility with 3 playgrounds and a large field to play in .

Everyone I know that has transferred or started at Corpus Christ has loved it, I don't know of anyone who did not feel it was a great environment for their child and family.
I would recommend this school to anyone looking.
