I sent my children to Discovery School, because their teaching methods are child friendly. They teach through play and use the children's interests to guide them to learn. Both of my kids LOVE school, because it is fun to learn. There are NO worksheets, but there is plenty of learning. This is what I was taught to do when I received my degree in Early Childhood Education.
The teachers are amazing! I have seen very little turn over compared to other preschools, and the teachers teach from their hearts. I truly believe they have found their calling.
Parental involvement is encourage and apparent. This is a school that is close. However, if you are unable to volunteer, that is completely respected as well. There is no pressure.
