I could not afford a private school. I have seen great things happening at Cielo Vista and MacArthur, both. I have one child in each of these schools. My children are happy and they are disciplined. Communication is great and I am welcomed to classes anytime. The teachers, couselors, etc. welcome parental involvement. I am very pleased.

The answer is easy, El Paso Country Day School. My children have had the best education available. All are doing very well. When a student is having a problem the parents are notified immediately and a plan is made. The college counseling is FANTASTIC. The students are in a culture where it is expected that all kids will go on to college and they do!

Tell me about it!! This has become a clown school. The frustrating thing now is trying to find a great school to start my child in for the first year of high school. Any suggestion... I have been researching and am now gun shy with all DaVinci's promises...

Well, it's not Da Vinci School for Science and the Arts in EL Paso, TX! Teacher turn around is devastating, not to mention what it does to the student's, they lost 10 highly qualified teachers this past year, the school replaced those teachers with 1st year teachers, I run in to some teachers from last year and they told me the school is a stepping stone for teachers, they receive 1 year of teaching experience and move to other schools, the school had the best technology teacher in El Paso with tons of Digital Media/Graphic Design experience, before teaching he worked for several world known agencies and brought that experience to Da Vinci, creating the most exciting curriculum I have ever seen, he was also 1 of the 10 teachers that moved on, now they have a teacher who is trying to mimic his position, (can't even come close), When I realized he left, I pulled out my daughter and so did many other parents.
