We attended public schools when we first moved to Cedar Hill. After the first year, I pulled my kids and put them in private. We were at Highlands, nad we have issues with the way Mrs Lewis runs her school. The teacher turnover rate was ridiculously high at Christmas break - the middle of the year. We now attemd Trinity Christian. The education is comparatively higher, but the atmosphere makes the difference.
I went to a private school growing up in NYC. So I still have my feelers out on Cedar Hill especially since my daughter starts 24 August. Although the education in my opnion cannot be compared to from private vs public, my opinion and experience is that people are the same in the end. Private or public...one side thinks they are better off but I can state a case for both sides. It comes down to parents taking an active role in their childs development, and a dedicated staff and administration at that particular facility. Combine all this and you will get quality input which will result in positive out put. My daughter will be attending Waterford and I am curious as to what the feed back is on how Waterford rates in parents minds.
