I don't have an answer but I too am moving to the knox. area from Ca. I am looking for a school that offers art, music, foreign language, great enrichment programs as well as academics. I was told that Hardin Valley Elementary was a good school but I can't find info. on what they offer. My daughter is going into the 4th grade. She is very bright and extremely creative and I want to continue to nurture that. She does not fit in the box. She is an out of the box, creative, out going wonderful child. Not a drone! Any suggestions?
Thank you for sharing your information with me. We have adopted our 7 year old granddaughter and we are thinking about moving to the Knoxville area. Do you have any suggestions on the best area to live. Thank you for your comments.
I love West Hills Elementary. I love it because they are a very open but secure school. The office is right there when you walk into the building. The teachers are great and very helpful. They help you with what you have concerns with if they can. The principal and nurse is great. I have only seen them a few times and they remember who I am. They care to know the parents of their students. They are also a school that has multiple races in it and do not treat one race better than the other. They do not like bullying or racism and will do what it takes to make it stop.
