We tried private school last year (K5). It was an AWFUL experience for us. We went and that was bad. We finally asked around and found a public school we LOVE. It's not easy to get your child approved to transfer but it can be done. Look at the schools report card and find out about the PTA. A school with a very active PTA means very involved parents and teachers.
