I just registered my daughter for Kindergarten and helped my friend register her Second Grader at Crowders Creek Elementary. The registration is relatively smooth and painless. If your immunizations are up to date, just contact the SC Health Department at 803-909-8300 and get them a copy of the immunizations and they'll gt you a certificate of immunizations for SC. If you have a pediatrician already in SC/NC area they can also get your the certificate. Come prepared with a birth certificate, proof of residence (a utility bill will suffice), SS cards and previous transcripts from schools if applicable and you should be set. Best of luck!
