I will always recommend Carolina Kids in Fort Mill, SC as one of the best experiences I've had in a preschool. My daughter and I moved quite a bit, we moved from New Jersey to Charlotte and then moved again in Charlotte, until we finally landed in Lake Wylie, SC. I say this because when my daughter started Preschool at 3 years old she was in 2 other schools before we landed at Carolina Kids. The atmosphere, the academics, the supervision, the food and the director were awesome! I love Ms. Leah, who is just the most wonderful woman and wholeheartedly believes in what she is doing. The curriculum is the Abecca Curriculum which is faith based. So while they won't beat your children over the head with bible rhetoric, they will instill values, understanding, and principles that I believe all children should know. As for learning, you child will be fully versed in number, letters, and beginning to write, and know letter sounds. My daughter is in Kindergarten now and she is way beyond some of the children in her class. I truly believe that is in part due to the wonderful schooling she received at Carolina Kids. The one bad thing I would have to say about the school, is the amount of teachers my daughter went through in the two years she was there. She had about 3 teachers. I will say that might not be the fault as the school as she did enter in the summer and only had 1 teacher during the 2 academic school years she was there.
