Richland Two told me that they have the best schools in the midlands, possibly the state and probably the nation. My children are in Richland Two schools and I can assure you this is not so. I would look at Chapin schools and, for elementary, Lexington One. If your child is in honors classes, Hand Middle in Richland One is excellent and Dreher has a good honors program. The rest of the schools is Richland One are below par.

Lexington districts 2 and 5 are very good schools. Richland 2 has some good schools also. Richland district 1 on the other hand needs some work. Richland 1 is the district I live in. Instead of sending my child to the school she is zoned for, I made the decision to send her to a charter school in this district.

South Carolina have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to educating our children.
