We specifically moved to Sewickley so that our children could attend school in the Quaker Valley School District. There also is an excellent private school in the area, Sewickley Academy. I believe that there is currently a waiting list for certain grade levels for Sewickley Academy.

The two public elementary schools are Edgeworth and Osborne. The are quite similar, and I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Edgeworth just underwent a complete renovation of the building and it is a very attractive and welcoming space.

Children begin Spanish instruction in the 4th grade, however there is an after-school Spanish instruction program for K-3 for those who choose to enroll in it. They have an anti-bullying program that begins in Kindergarten, as does their computer technology instruction.
The teachers in the Quaker Valley School District are committed to quality education and support each and every student there.
