JH Brooks Elementary is by far the best.
All of my children went there and they
had a great time, until ofcourse they
went to middle school, but they told me
that brooks was the time of your life.
The teachers aren't just there to teach,
they honestly care about what kind of
person you are. Some days, my daughter
would come home and say "wow, Mr. D'alessio
talked to us for 2 hours about treating
eachother with respect because so and so
said this and that."
There are many oppurtunites at this school as well.
There is a big trip for the fifth graders to gettysburgh
and all of the field trips are fun and memorable
for any student.
I'm very interested in this question. I lived in Moon Township 20 years ago when my oldest, who is 26, was in 1st grade and his experience was godawful. He had a couldn't care less, do nothing principal and a b-word for a teacher. Thankfully we were only there for one year. It turned me off of Moon Township for good until now. I just moved back to the area and took a tour through Moon and alot has changed in 20 years, and hopefully it filtered down to the schools. I have one who will be in 5th grade next year and one who will be in 7th. I know from snotty cliques as we were recently in the West Chester School District, where I had 5 children go through the schools there and they are highly overated, and we are temporarily in the Keystone Oaks School District staying with my Mom and has that district gone downhill! What have your experiences been in the Moon school district and should I send my kids there?
