Eugene only has two school districts and two private high schools, to my knowledge. 4-J is the main school district, with North Eugene, South Eugene, Churchill, and Sheldon as the four high schools. Sheldon has the best reputation, largely because it's in the welthiest area and gets a lot of support. It's also huge, with roughly 2,000 students (huge for Eugene). South Eugene HS is very comparable, with a more creative staff and relaxed environment. North Eugene is the smallest and least affluent school, but is trying some interesting reorganization that breaks the school into 3 individual schools, each with it's own focus, staff, and administration.
Bethel is the other district, with Willamette HS as the main HS and Kalapua as the alternative school. Bethel has a middle-of-the-pack record, but has generaly been better funded and less reliant on tax measures than 4-J. As such, they have some of the stronger faculties and after-school programs, despite being a lower-income school. Interesting situation.
Oak Hill Academy and Marist are the two private school options I know of, with Marist a Catholic school and Oak Hill a colleged prepatory academy. Both have fairly good reputations, but Oak Hill is very small, with 6-12 students per grade level.
I don't know how helpful any of this is, but it's something.
