This seems to be a really touchy subject around here! Personally, I will speak to 2 components to this discussion: academic and spiritual. I don't see the need for private school here because we do have some stellar public schools here. Academically, we have 3 fantastic elementary schools that test well, are rated well, and are fantastic. Spiritually, I'm very hesitant to send my children to a school that will teach a faith that may or may not be in line with my families faith. I prefer to keep that taught in the home and church. Also, keep in mind that none of our private schools continue through high school.
