I've lived in this area for over 40 years. Mason OH has a reputation for great schools. The high school is gorgeous... and they are known for their special programs and accommodations for gifted, etc.

My child attended a private Catholic school in Mason (Royalmont Academy) from age 4 through 8th grade. At Royalmont, academics are very strong, teachers are caring, leadership skills are highly encouraged, faith is explained and nurtured.... The school is a welcoming place with family values being encouraged. Policies honor and respect parents as the primary teachers of their children.
If your child's main focus is "official" school sports teams, or if you have a "special needs" child, then I recommend you at least consider the Mason public schools. However, I recommend Royalmont as an environment that excels in teaching children to strive for their full potential and to learn the value of faith and virtue. It's an amazing place with an excellent child:teacher ratio.
