I would like to know the same thing. I will be moving to the Fort Bragg area shortly. I do not have any kids ready for school but my son will start preschool in about 2 years so I want to get a home now in a good school area so when the time comes we are ready!

I'm in the same boat as tlane78. I have a son and we are looking for a house before the husband gets out of army in April. Want the best schools with either no cops going to everyday/everyweek for gangs and etc. I was bout to sign papers for a house that I LOVED then told..west over is one of the worst for gangs and etc. granted nice neighborhood, but devonwood is a NO NO to live from what I'm told. so bck to house hunting

I was very worried about that when looking for the best school to send my kids. But talking to a few people around Fayetteville, Ive made up my mind. The best school District in Fayetteville is Jack Britt. Ive heard nothing but positive things about this school and the schools around this area. My kids attend Stoney Point Elementary, John Griffin Middle and eventually will attend Jack Britt HS. All of these schools are schools of Distinction.
