Check out CCRI, this the Child Care Resources division of childcare for Charlotte. NC preschools are rated by a star rating system from 1 to 5 stars (5 being the highest rating). The CCRI website will also document any violations and Health Department citations and rating. Good Luck! (PS, we loved The Goddard School, a private, owner on site facility with an educational based preschool program)

I haven't chosen a school in Charlotte. I'm hoping that this site will offer some assistance along w/ my own other research.
