Parent Answers to "What school districts have the best reputation in or around Cary?"

The district is Wake County Public Schools (someone once told me this is the 3rd largest district in the US, but for this area that seems surprising). You will not have to worry about which school, because of redistricting. School reassignment is an ongoing part of struggles here. Your children will most likely be forced to change schools against your wishes unless you opt for a private school. Sorry, but that's the truth. However, most Cary schools are excellent. Just don't count on being able to stay in the one you choose.
