Parent Answers to "What preschool do you think is great in Buffalo? Why?"

The top tier preschools in and near Buffalo, based on where the child goes onto for grammar school and the quality of education would be; Nardin Montessori, The Park Schools of Buffalo, The Aurora Waldorf School and the new The Rose Garden - a Waldorf Steiner school (not in any particular order). Each one has a very different personality. But all focus on creativity, natural toys and learning tools, curiosity, reading to the children, imagination and no books. The results have been children that are highly creative, focused, independent, leaders that go onto highly rated grammar schools, highschools and colleges. The children I meet from these schools have manners, a seance of self, and are articulate. I think this stems from the teachers letting the children figure problems out for themselves rather then spoon-feeding the children words and numbers out of a book all day. Good luck hunting !
