Baldwin IS the union free school district. However, there are 5 elementary schools 1 middle school & 1 high school. The best of the 5 elementary schools is Milburn on Milburn Ave. You must live in the zone for that school though even though the district buses most special ed to Meadow school which is why it's so over crowded. Bellemore-Merrick are much better school districts than Baldwin. Good luck!
