Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Astoria? What makes it great?"

My twin daughters attend Immaculate Conception on Ditmars. We love the school because it is small, and has a fantastic caring principal and good teachers. The academics are vigorous (we consistently beat Maime Fay) the kids are very well behaved and kind to each other, and the school is small enough that every teacher knows every child and every parent's name. And the parents are really involved in the school. It is a little piece of community in a very big city and we really love it.
