We lived in Alamorgordo almost 10 years ago. My husband is looking at the possibility of returning. I have a 13 year old boy and am concerned. Ten years ago the only thing for teens to do was go to the movie theater. We knew a couple of families that chose to put their teenage children in boarding school. This town is on a MAJOR drug trafficing route. I do remember many large drug busts were made at the checkpoint just south of town.
