Bobbie's Babies, 744 Broad Street, a little known secret on the National Building's second floor. It's small, which was great when my daughter started at 3.5 yrs old. There are only 6 kids in her class, so she gets lots of attention and everyone is her friend, I think she knows all the kids from newborn to PK-3 by name. They also include in their curriculum violin classes, music, art, and computers. Last year they worked with local artists for a month. I love it. It's convienient whether you work in Newark or New York, as many parents do. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Penn Station or you can take the light rail there.
