Jonsmom, my son is at the pubic middle school in Dover (Dover Middle School), and the experience has been wonderful so far. At first when they transition from elementary school, the school seems so large and intimidating. But, the kids (and parents) get used to it quickly. I was very pleased with the 5th grade curriculum and it looks like 6th grade will be equally as good. The music and band teachers are fantastic, so dedicated, experienced, and passionate about music education. There are a number of sports and enrichment activities as well.
