Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Las Vegas? What makes it great?"

Look into Ghering Elementary in zip code 89183. My child attends here and it has been a good school to her. She receives many awards for her achievements making them more achievable. They have a good rating with parents and seem to have educated teachers and the Principal and VP are good as well. Talking to the principal is nearly impossible because she speaks so fast it breaks the sound barrier...LOL but the VP is very attentive to any needs you have.
Another school you may look into that we are also considering is Explorer Knowledge. They have a great program that some children will thrive in.
