There is only 17 school districts in Nevada. Each county has one school district, so in Las Vegas, that is the Clark County School District. There are over 350 schools in the district, and it is the 5th largest district in the U.S.
There are many Awesome schools, and some not so good. It really depends where you live in the county.

Ilive over by north las Vegas, would like to know about the schools here and can I place my child in a charter school
Vanderburg,Twitchell and Lamping elementary schools are the best in Henderson.They are in great areas,however if you are moving here from back east do not expect the same standards; as education is not a priority for Clark county and I think sometimes great schools can be misleading.Explore the charter schools here,they fill up fast!
Well, I live in the Clark county school district and you can enroll your child in mackey elementary school or Williams elementary school. If your looking for preschool, kids campus learning center.
