Boarder Lines are not clearly cut, so first make sure you know what district you are in. Second contact the school district's home office, or check for a website (most districts have one now), the information you need will be listed there (as each district is slightly different). Usually proof of residency is needed (note from landlord or house title/mortgage statement) proof of the-child's age, if transferring you'll need prior school records, shot records are a must. To be prepared for anything make sure you do this in advance as some schools have two week wait periods before they process the child's records.
