Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Columbia? What makes it great?"

Cedar Ridge Is located in East Columbia and i was a student about 5 years ago and heres why its the best:
1. It is the smallest elem in Columbia so your child will get to know the other kids there much faster
2. I would say some of the best teachers in CPS after one 5th grade teacher was given the job as principle of a high school and 8 teachers now have been awarded Y107 Teacher of the year award and in the past 2 years Columbia Public Schools has awarded 3 teachers of 2 different awards 1 award given to a 3rd grade teacher as new teacher of the year 1 awarded to 1st grade teacher for teacher of the year and other as longest teacher job in CPS history
3.This school is very well known for its programs such as:CAST (A Drama Program that does 4-5 plays a year)
Production Crew (a news program which airs to everyone in the school) others include Choir,Basketball,Student Council,and others
