I also had another issue when my son attended Laurel Lake Elementary school. HE had forgotten his lunch one day. When I brought it to him, I looked all over his class for him. I then asked the teacher where he was. Her faced turned red as she pointed in the direction of a desk set up in the back of the classroom with cardboard taped around it. This is where she had put my son so that he would be quiet. Fall River school systems stink!!!!!!!
How can you claim to be such a great school community when My son had left Durfee in April of 2006 and I was called by the guidancwe department in October of 2008 to let me know that my son was not in school that day. When I finally explained to him that my son no longer attended the school, his answer to me was well he has a schedule here so he must be here!! I find this very disturbing.
