For discipline I would recommend a private school. The public schools have to be so politically correct and are limited in funds. Parents have more of a say in private schools in Baltimore.

Maryland has a wonderful public education system. Schools do vary from district to district. Check out your public schools first. In some situations a private school is preferable, depending on your child's needs.
Both systems have their strengths and weaknesses.
The key is to be involved in your child's education regardless of what choice you make.

Well that depends on you and the needs of kids. You can find great public school in Maryland and great Private school again it really depends on you. My child goes to public school that's because I have done the whole private school thing and honestly I really feel like he's getting more from public school then private school. I was paying about 560 a month so like I said it depends on you! I would try public school first....
