Parent Answers to "What's a great elementary school in Metairie? What makes it great?"

My daughter attends that school going on 3 years now. She started in Pre-K and is now starting first grade. We have been very happy with this school. The principal Marc Milano is awesome. He runs a tight ship there and makes it a point to know the students and the parents. The teachers are very good and the class sizes are small .The only thing I was unhappy with was Pre-K. They really didn't teach the kids much of anything. Had I really understood their system, I would have put my daughter elsewhere just for Pre-K. Other than that, we have been very happy there. Hope that helps ..lol, By the way, She attends Marie Riviere on Lake Ave.
