Hands down--Woodlake Elementary. My first 3 children went to Covington Elementary, and Lyon and I was very disappointed in the lack of communication between parents and teachers.
We moved to Mandeville as my 4th child began school, and I was amazed at the difference. Agendas are used--really used to communicate. The staff of Woodlake bent over backwards while my son went through diagnostics for dyslexia, helping him through the transition to special ed and supplying information both to me and the psychologist.
Sure, the classrooms are clean, the grounds are lovely, the teachers are nice, and an amazing principal (Dr. Krieger), but the degree of care Woodlake has shown towards my son was impressive beyond words.
