My daughter started kindergarten this fall. In early spring, the schools have an enrollment/open house period where you can meet faculty and staff and register your child/children. You can always go to the school to get the packet, fill out the forms there or bring them another day. It's very easy.
Items you need for your child to start school are:
Birth Certificate, Social Security number, Current Immunization Certificate, Physical (filled out on the Kentucky Department of Education form), Eye Exam (Kindergarten or 1st time in KY) and Proof of Residence
