The CDC has a list of private providers. I have had great luck with these smaller daycare situations. My son goes to a provider in Lansing who is excellent. She teaches the children Spanish, has structured exercise time, and planned field trips.
There is none better than Xavier in Leavenworth. My three children all went there for preschool and had loving, caring teachers in a wonderful learning environment. Xavier rocks!
