Four Winds Waldorf School's environment provides an opportunity for our young preschoolers to learn about the world thru a unique method of combining the academics studies with practical experience (learn and do it yourself).

Four Winds Waldorf in Warrenville. Check out the website for more detailed information. They have many different pre-school options, but their Sunrise Garden transitional class isn't offered anywhere else. For 3-4 year olds. Parents stay in class the first 8 weeks and then transition out the last 8 weeks. While the parents are in class they get invaluable lessons on early childhood development, nutrition, discipline, etc. I am truly a better mother for being in that class. The classroom is completely eco-friendly and toxic free. The toys are natural. There is a warm, organic, nutritious snack every day that the children help prepare. It's what every preschool should be.
